Have you tried systemising your business in the past and failed?
You’re not alone. When it comes to systemising, many businesses have tried and failed. Why? Because trying to systemise without the right tools is like trying to put together a puzzle without all the pieces.
Nothing falls into place.
Understanding the different components that make up systemisation will dramatically increase your chances of getting it right. You need to make sure that your staff:
➡️ Knows what they need to do.
➡️ Have buy-in to the process.
➡️ Are equipped with the right tools.
➡️ Have access to support.
And without putting the right pieces in place for your team, you won’t get the outcome you’re looking for.
In this video David Jenyns explains the three components of business systems that, when put together, will help you achieve complete business reliability.

In this video, we’re going to talk about the systemHUB and SYSTEMology ecosystem so that you can make an informed decision as to how you can get on the journey towards building a systems culture in your organisation. Now, having worked with thousands of companies over the years, we’ve identified the key components required to build this system’s culture. Oftentimes when people start on this journey, they think they just need a piece of software, and that’s going to magically solve all of their problems. And it’ll help build a systemized business. But as they get going, they understand that there are actually different components at play. You need to make sure that your staff:
Know what they need to do.
Have bought into the process.
Have the right tools.
Have the right support to get the result.
Because if you have only one or two of those, you don’t actually get the outcome. Now, at the heart of all of the work that we do, we look to help business owners achieve what we call complete business reliability. And we know they have to have three components to make that happen.
That’s what I want to walk through with you right now. So firstly, there is the software component. So the software component we call systemHub, you may already be familiar with that platform. There are a few things that make System Hub very unique. Not only does it fit into the SYSTEMology ecosystem, but it’s got a few core ideas around simplicity, because the truth of the matter is complexity is the enemy of systemization. Once you start to introduce software with too many bells and whistles that team members can’t figure out, then it just becomes a reason and a hurdle that they need to get over before they can actually get in there.
So systemHUB has been designed for one specific purpose, and it does that better than anything else. By focusing on that one problem, then we have the training component. Now, this goes hand in hand with the software, but it’s more than just that. The training, which is SYSTEMology training. It’s everything that I talk about in the SYSTEMology book. It’s the system for systemizing your business. And you need training for the business owner. You need training for your systems champion. You need training for individual team members so that they can understand, hey, this is how we do things here. And we have as part of our SYSTEMology membership, all of those components that you need to lead and guide your team through this path to get the results.
So we’re looking at software training, and as part of the training as well, there’s a range of different tools and templates that we’ve developed. Obviously, having worked with thousands of companies, we’ve discovered best practice templates and there’s ways that we can shortcut and help speed that up for you. Ultimately, all templates need to be customised and tailored to your unique situation, but it can definitely get the ball rolling much quicker. And then the last component we have here is the community.
Now, depending on which different program you might be looking at, the community might be a little support group of peers as they go through the same process as you. It might be working with a SYSTEMologist, it might be gaining access into our forums. But when you combine this together, It’s That support and that accountability to make sure that you get the result. It’s adding all of these three together that gets you the fantastic result that you’re looking for right in the middle here. And that’s what we call complete business reliability. This is where SYSTEMology and system hub live.
Now, again, this is also what makes our offering very unique. It’s the understanding of what it takes. Once you understand these components, though, it becomes more obvious as to how we’ve been able to help thousands of companies around the world move through this process. How we’ve helped business owners systemize themselves out of the day-to-day operations, how we’ve helped companies grow and scale well beyond what they thought is possible.
And we’ve even had other companies go on to sell and exit their businesses, because with the use of systems, they’re able to build a saleable asset that someone would actually look to buy. So it becomes more obvious when you understand the different components, but what we do is get business owners to have a deeper conversation than just “does this software have this little feature?”. “Do you have that template?”; That’s not going to get you the result that you’re after,
It’s the combination, the ecosystem that we’ve proven that will get you the result. Now, if you’re just getting started on this journey and you’re not too sure where to start, I’m going to suggest that you get a copy of the SYSTEMology book. You can head over to Amazon. There’s both the physical copy, or you can also grab the audiobook version as well. It’ll walk you through the seven step methodology. It’s the system for systemising your business. And then you’ll begin to see how all of this fits together. So go ahead and of course, if you’ve got any questions, just reach out to the team or myself and we’ll be sure to either help or at the very least, we’re going to point you in the right direction.
